The artist

Since first meeting at the historic Café Schwarzenberg in Vienna, Franz-Markus Siegert (Second Concertmaster of the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra), Roland Lindenthal (Principal Cellist of the Vienna Volksoper) and pianist Hanna Bachmann have performed together as the Schwarzenberg Trio. In addition to their shared home city of Vienna, they are connected by a profound dedication to chamber music, devoting themselves not only to the well-known trio repertoire but also to hidden musical gems.

Since 2021, the ensemble has curated its own concert series at the Haus der Ingenieure in Vienna and has appeared at numerous festivals in Austria as well as in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Hungary. A concert tour to Ireland is also planned in the near future. Following their debut album featuring piano trios by Ludwig van Beethoven, Werner Pirchner, and Felix Mendelssohn, the Schwarzenberg Trio now presents this recording with works from the late 19th and mid-20th centuries by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Ernest Chausson, and Arno Babajanyan.
